Andy Irons was a professional surfer for more than a decade before passing away in 2010. Andy Irons tried to be not only the best surfer he could be but also the best influence and role model he could be to young surfers everywhere. He won three world championships in his lifetime along with many other titles. With this drive and attitude he was someone that Billabong definitely wanted to represent the brand.
